Painting & Door Restoration Pricing in Orlando

Most projects are priced by size, condition, and the amount of preparation required. Because I specialize in repair and detailed finish work, two rooms or doors that look similar can need very different amounts of prep — so these are honest ranges, not flat rates.

Interior painting

Interior room painting — by size & condition

Per room, before any add-ons. “Significant prep” means real repair — filling, sanding, and feathering damaged areas into the wall before priming.

RoomGood conditionFair conditionSignificant prep
Small$150–$180$200–$240$275–$330
Medium$250–$300$325–$390$425–$510
Large$400–$480$500–$600$650–$780

Bedrooms are typically treated as medium rooms unless measurements indicate otherwise. Ceiling, trim, and crown molding are priced on top.

Good to know
$350 minimum project charge

Every project carries a $350 minimum, no matter how the individual line items add up. It keeps small, detail-heavy jobs worth doing right — and means there are no surprises when a single small item is priced.

Signature service

Front & exterior door restoration

$500–$800 per door

A restoration and refinishing service — not simply a repaint. Pricing includes preparation, repair of minor surface damage, peeling-paint prep, priming, and two coats of alkyd enamel. Oversized doors, or doors with a sidelight, are generally toward the upper end. French / glass-panel front doors run $900–$1,300 for the detailed pane-by-pane work.

Two visits are required because the enamel needs an overnight cure between coats. The return visit to rehang the door and reinstall the hardware is included in the price.

Interior doors

Interior door restoration — $120–$280 per door

Interior door pricing depends on condition. The more repair and preparation a door needs before refinishing, the higher it lands in the range (French doors run $250–$580):

Common questions

Pricing questions, answered

How much does it cost to paint a bedroom in Orlando?

Most bedrooms are medium rooms, so they run $250–$300 in good condition, $325–$390 with some patching and prep, and $425–$510 when significant repair is needed. Ceiling, trim, and crown molding are priced on top. For an exact number, tell our chat estimator the room size and condition.

How much does it cost to paint a front door in Orlando?

Front door refinishing runs $500–$800 per door (French/glass-panel front doors $900–$1,300). That covers full restoration — surface repair, peeling-paint prep, priming, and two coats of durable alkyd enamel — across two visits so the enamel can cure overnight between coats. Oversized doors and doors with a sidelight sit toward the top of the range.

How much does it cost to restore an interior door?

Interior door restoration is $120–$280 per door, depending on condition. Light scuffs are toward the lower end; scratches and chips that need filling and priming fall in the middle; peeling or gouged doors that need real repair land at the upper end. Interior French doors run $250–$580.

What is the minimum project charge?

Every job carries a $350 minimum, whatever the line items add up to. It keeps small, detail-heavy jobs — a single door, a quick trim touch-up — worth doing right.
